Capital Fringe is rebellious and adventurous—alive in the present moment. We ask patrons to put their worries aside and laugh, cry, clap, dance and hug. We ask artists to blend their wild-eyed creativity and their spirit of unblinking competition in order to make great art as opposed to large profits. Capital Fringe serves a critical role by giving local theatre and performing artists a platform to launch their careers.

The majority of all our ticket sales go straight to the artist, our portion of ticket sales—even with record-breaking box office totals—do not cover even a quarter of our yearly budget. We need your support to continue to on our work and sustain what we have built.

Each year our hope is that through grassroots innovation and open-source creativity we can unleash truly amazing results; however, making the Fringe come to life each year and year after year, is a massive strategic, logistic and financial challenge.  In order to make it happen. We need you.
