In a time of war, large environmental disasters, economic crisis, how does art in the
nation’s capital make a difference? Join us for an interactive discussion with area artists,
art-watchers and producers as we discuss art-making in DC and where it connects justice,
protest, community and transformation.

Come together with other artists to talk Solo Performance - what it incorporates and what
it takes to be a solo performer. Topics will range from the writing process, developing new
work, production challenges and audience outreach.

What is improvisation? Is theatre the only artistic discipline to use improvisation? Join local
musicians, actors, dancers and visual artists who use improvisation in their work for a
no-holds-barred conversation about the importance of improvisation in creativity.
Experience improvisational scores/formats/approaches. Drink a shot of inspiration for your
